New students that have been accepted to 快活视频 and are requesting campus housing and have paid the housing deposit will have until May 31, 2024 to submit applications.

All ADA housing requests for the 2024-2025 academic year will be reviewed and decided by the office of residence life on June 1. 聽You must meet all of the eligibility requirements to receive special accommodations.聽

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES

ADA compliance objectsIn keeping with the President鈥檚 commitment to 快活视频 becoming an 鈥淥utcomes-Oriented University,鈥 the university is committed to providing all offerings in the most accessible way possible by maintaining compliance with standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act as amended.

To help provide the best possible service to students, staff, faculty and visitors with disabilities, 快活视频 recently created an office of ADA Compliance. The Director of ADA Compliance will assist anyone with questions about access; provide consultation on policy reviews and facilities planning; and serve as a clearing house for disability access related complaints.

Section 504 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and it鈥檚 implementing regulation at 28 C.F.R. Part 35, which prohibit discrimination based on disability, in programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance from the Department and, respectively, public entities. As a recipient of Federal financial assistance and a public entity, the College is subject to these laws and regulations.

ADA 504 ACCOMMODATIONS COUNSELOR FOR STUDENTS AND FACULTY STATEMENT FOR SYLLABUS

The 504 Accommodations Program is in place at 快活视频 to provide assistance to students with disabilities so they can acquire the necessary resources and accommodations they need to be successful. As 快活视频 continues to increase its varied usage of technology, the accessibility of electronic information is an important focus. The Director collaborates initiatives in this area including the implementation of a plan created by several departments, including but not limited to the Library, Information Technology, Campus Technology, Faculty Instruction, T- CAEIL, ODEOL, and OMC. The goal of this plan is that accessibility in our electronic offerings will not only improve but also become a commonly recognized need.
